Rose Emma was my paternal Great Great Grandmother.  She was born in Refugio, TX to Elizabeth Boxley and George Williams.  She died at a young age  (June 30, 1916) and the stories that are told of Rose Emma are loving and inspiring.  She was the mother of five children and she loved them "all" dearly.

Rose Emma met Wiley Isaiah and to this union was born Warner Isaiah my Great Grandfather.  After a failed relationship, she then  met and married James Lewis and to this union were born Sophia, Jamie, Hazel and Alvin Lewis   It is said that Rose loved hats, mainly men hats and that she wore them well.
