One of the first things on
my list of things to do upon arriving in Texas was to visit the
home that my
Great Grandmother Ora lived in (pictured above). "The home is located on Broadway across the street from
the railroad track" the way it's described by those that
knew. As luck would have it I was able to visit and take a
picture of the home before it was destroyed. The home
was demolished in 2005.
