Chloe Matilda Perkins Lamb was my Great Grandmother. She was the 9th child out of 13 children born to Adeline Trotman and William Henry Perkins.  She was born Oct. 9, 1878 in Camden County North Carolina and died Oct. 16, 1953 five months after I was born.

There aren't many stories that I can remember that were told about my Great Grandmother.  I do remember one story in particular about how she favored one of her daughter-in-laws apparently over the others.

My research continues for oral passages about Chloe... as the favored daughter-in-law is 94 years old as of Nov. 7, 2009 and is still living.  Therefore my quest continues although she's not doing to much talking.  (smile)
